teaching philosophy
My undergraduate courses include a discussion of misconceptions about philosophy and the relevance of philosophical debates for everyday issues. In these courses I dedicate much of my attention to help students build basic conceptual tools to develop a critical attitude towards questions that matter to them.
For graduate seminars and advanced courses, I instead focus on improving students’ communication skills (writing and presentation skills), and helping them develop an organized line of inquiry into the philosophical questions that most interest them.
